Smoke Detectors

Smoke detectors are a critical part of fire safety in your home, and the Sun Lakes Fire District is committed to seeing that every smoke detector in the Sun Lakes community is in good working order. In order to meet this goal, the Sun Lakes Fire Department will, at no cost to citizens of Sun Lakes, clean the smoke detectors in your home and replace the batteries in them, upon request, each time the low battery indicator is sounding on your detector. This service can be arranged by contacting our business office at 480-895-9343, or by e-mail at slfd@slfd.org .

Residents will need to provide batteries for replacement when firefighters come to replace them.
